Production of Normal Paraffins, Linear Alkylbenzene (LAB) and Sulphonic Acid (LABSA).
Puente Mayorga Plant started its activity in 1969, with the production of Linear Alkylbenzene (LAB).
The raw materials (kerosene, hydrogen, benzene, sulphur and nafta) are received by direct line from the CEPSA Gibraltar refinery; that plant, in turn, return hydrogenated kerosene to the refinery without the normal paraffin, that is an excellent fuel for jet aircraft engines.
Puente Mayorga Plant produces n-paraffins (fraw material for LAB) required not only for the production of LAB in San Roque, but also those required in other two factories of LAB that CEPSA Química owns in Brazil and Canada . These three factories make Cepsa Química a world leader in this sector.
Normal Paraffin: Capacity 400.000 Tm/Y
Linear Alkylbenzene (LAB): Capacity 220.000 Tm/Y
Sulphonic Acid (LABSA): Capacity 80.000 Tm/Y
